Singing in the Tabernacle and Sounding Like the Tab Choir

Dave and I just finished singing at the Tabernacle in a 300 voice choir. It was for Temple workers. It was an awesome experience. I've sung in the Tabernacle before, but never with such a large choir. The acoustics are incredible!
Dave and I took the opportunity afterward to take a few photos. Forgot the camera, so we took these with the phone...

Christine's Orchestra Concert

Okay, so I have this cool little camera, and I was all ready to take some great footage of Christine in her chamber orchestra and quartet...
BATTERY IS LOW is not something you want to see in that situation...
Luckily I had my extremely high-tech phone which happens to be equiped with a very powerful camera... Okay, okay, so it doesn't take great pictures, but photoshop can make the pictures fun... so here you go...

I know, I know, we look like Naomi and Wynona Judd...

Christine played in the chamber orchestra, then several stringed quartets performed. Of course, Christine's was the best. It actually was!

I tried to record a snippet for you, but my amazing camera/phone recorded in a format my computer won't read... so you'll just have to take my word for it... Christine's violinning was FABULOUS!!

19 Years Old and Off to Little Rock Arkansas!

Our youngest son, Michael, leaves on a mission to Little Rock Arkansas March 3rd. He was so excited when he got the call, that you should have seen the stack of books he checked out from the library about the state! :)

He wanted Meatloaf of all things for his special dinner. (the best meatloaf in the whole world, he said)
Then we went bowling. Just so you know, when ever I go bowling, my goal in life is to break 100. I was a little off. Well more than a little. 77 and 92 are definately less than 100!
I would have added pictures here, except the black lights, the strobes and disco balls would have made it a little hard to get a good shot. One good thing, though, was that the disco music made you feel like dancing, even if you didn't get that spare...

Mom and son...

Here is a picture of him with Christine:

Timing is Everything...

Don't you hate it when you have looked for something so long that you have given up. You buy new ones, and 4 hours later... that's right! You find them!!

Timing is everything...

Don't you hate it when you buy something expensive, only to find that if you had waited until that weekend, it would have been 60% off?!

Timing is everything...

Don't you hate it when you find something you really care about, only to learn that you can't have it?! The timing is all off...

Timing is everything...

When you are young, you wish you were older. When you are older, you wish you were younger.

Timing is everything...

Our home, like yours, is a laboratory of learning. Timing is one of those things we are constantly learning about.
