Lifestyles of the un-rich and not-so-famous...

Okay, so we have had a busy couple of weeks...
First, there was a big choir practice with all of the choirs from the Temple Dedication. It was amazing!
Then we sang with our little choir of 31 in the Celestial room of the Temple. That was awesome as well.
Sunday was the Temple dedication where we sang in the choir first thing in the morning, then went to another dedication with our daughter Christine.

Wednesday was the last day of my finance class. I had a presentation, a paper and a final exam to prepare for. Though I thought I was torpedoed during the final exam, I pulled an 80% on it with a 90% final grade in the class. Whew!

Sunday usually means ward choir practice in our home. I compose and lead, Dave plays.

Dave has had a couple of job interviews, and I've had a few doctor's appointments.
We had a little scare with the possibility of cancer, but found out there was nothing to be concerned about. We are so grateful for that tender mercy from our Father in Heaven.

Our granddaughter Yllka Curtis, the Curtis Crew visited Dave's mom in West Virginia. Yllka was blessed that week as well.
How we wish we could have been there! What a special time!

Spring Fever!

Just when my crocus and pansies were blooming, we had a snow storm which dumped about 6 inches. Beautiul? Yes! Cold and not invited, since it is March? Yes.

I can't wait for the days of planning, planting, pruning and partaking!
